Nowadays it seems credit is on everyone's minds. Turn on the television and the news stations are talking about the financial crisis and how much people have lost - their jobs, homes, and financial stability.

Amidst all the scary news, we'd like to bring you a story of hope and change. It's an amazing story of how a single mom triumphed over having a low credit score and her "tips" on what you can do to improve your score like she did.

It's amazing to see how Michelle deleted charge-offs, collections,
and late payments - AND raised her credit score 177 points in under
4 months.

Michelle went through some hard financial times a little while back. She lost her job and as a result struggled to pay her car payment and credit card bills. She was devastated financially and emotionally.

She tried to do the right thing and wanted to work with her creditors, but they made it almost impossible. Many of the credit card accounts were reported as "charge offs" to the credit bureaus without her knowledge.

To make matters worse, collection agencies got involved. They began checking her credit without her consent, which we learned hurt your credit score. There were also duplicate entries for the same accounts.

Michelle desperately wanted to start over. She knew she had to clear up the bad credit and raise her credit score or else it would haunt her when she needed a loan. After talking to friends and doing some research online, she decided to hire professional credit repair attorneys. She signed up for a free credit repair consultation with Lexington Law and chose to sign up for their service after a thorough consultation.

Lexington Law started the credit repair process immediately and after only 30 days - Michelle saw 4 negative items removed.

Letter from TransUnion stating that three charge offs were deleted.

Letter from Experian stating that two collection items were deleted.

Letter from Equifax stating that two credit card charge offs were deleted.

Over the next few months, Michelle looked forward to receiving the
deletion letters in the mail because it proved to her that credit repair worked.
She watched her score climb up to 745!

Michelle's attorneys improved her score by 177 points. She now has
a score of 745, which lenders consider to be in the top tier.

Some say that Michelle was lucky enough to improve her credit score. If
you ask Michelle, she'll tell you that luck had nothing to do with it. That it
was all common sense. She knew she needed help when it came to her
credit standing and she had the foresight to see that improving her score
now would have significant impact on her ability to save in the future by
paying lower interest rates on loans. She is now the proud owner of a new
2010 Ford Fusion at a 1.9% low interest rate. Michelle and her daughters
couldn't be happier.
